Tahiti owner sold Tahiti, started Tiki, got slapped with a lawsuit by the new Tahiti owners for infringment, lost the lawsuit, started Hawaiian. If you go to Banderlog forum and search for Tahiti,or Hawaiian there is a bunch more info there.
Hawaiian's aren't known for exceptional quaility, basically they were a high production shop, pulling hulls out of the mold to soon, less than ideal production methods, etc. That said there were some hulls that held shape and are defiantley worth playing with.
By the way, I have a post lawsuit Tahiti 18 ST bubble deck...

Glad to be of help, Hope the Banderlog site gave you the info you were looking for. Lots of good people there, running mostly jets. That said you may want to look into the new Panther refit kit. Uses berkley type pump and bowls modded to work on the Panther intake assy, keeps from having to cut and re-glass the transom to switch to a True Berkley. If you're intrerested PM Slightly Salty at Skagen Bosts forum... he has the modded Panther/Berkley hi-bred and can give you more details... He's running a blown BBC in a '78 Brendella V-hull

1976 Hawaiian
I have a '77 with a 460, see my other posts for photos. I am biased of course, but I think it is the sleekest hull I have ever seen. Especially from the side, looks like all motor on a sheet of plywood. not sure if it full stringer though as it has a full floor.

I agree that the Hawaiian was a very sleek looking hull, I was just stating issues of the build quality.
I used to have a pic of my 21' jet hull with it hanging from my engine hoist on a double belly strap, and it looked wicked, even in primer. It was bought as a parts boat, stripped of what I needed, and sold. Last time I heard about it it was back up for sale
If you have a floor then you most likely have short stringers in te engine bay, and possibly a single stringer up the keel.
