vector restoration
I bought this from one of the members..worked a little on it and been kicking around how to "do it" while its been in storage for a year. Most of the old rotten waterlogged core peeled out easily by hand

some of the core was a bitch to get out..I now have two small holes where the chisel went through up under the bow.

thanks..I am still itching everytime I think about it. I am going to attack the dash next.... remove the wood, fill all the holes ect. I decided to crawl under the bow like you did yours (for the demo) instead of remove the top cap....

When I ground mine, I used a Tyvek top and pants. It breathes and keeps the dust off your open sweaty pores!!!

Baby powder also keeps a lot of the stuff out of the pores

Nice job!! igot an 84 vector not in real bad shape it has been kept under a shelter so iam not in that bad of shape in fixing it iwas wondering if anyone has reinforced the bow deck.it seems a little thin some of the girls that ride with me want to get up there and tan (we have a spot about three miles long in between where we launch to the other side where everyone hangs out 15mph enforced) just wondering.
