Always wear a life jacket!
Long story short....at a high rate of speed, three passengers, and a major accident and you will be happy that you were wearing a life jacket. I had the wonderful opportunity to hit a floating log in Shawano lake and spun the boat out somehow ending up the right side to the sky???? I am a stickler for people who like to enjoy a wild ride in my boat to wear a life jacket. Although that is a minor part to the story being that no one got ejected from the boat in this accident, it could have saved lives. Here are some pictures of the aftermath of the wonderful incident that I and two of my close friends had the joy of experiencing of July 4th 2009....

Owch! Glad everyone was ok.
Poor Vector though. Looks like it did a number on the clap and jackplate. Could have been alot worse though I guess.-Kevin

Looks like it could have been alot worse for you, maybe no the motor. Whats the extent of the injuries to you, and the passengers?

Wow that sucks. Shure had to be a hard hit to break the mouns off like that. Like you said it could have been worse, no one in the water.

So sorry to hear about your accident...hope you get your boat and motor back together real soon, thanks for keeping everyone including yourself safe by wearing a life jacket. I felt like I was traumatized after Tony Reynolds accident, I don't know why but it affected me really badly. Thank you again for being safe and keeping everyone else safe!!!

Man, that ain't good at all... I'll admit it's ironically refreshing to hear about a mishap where no one was seriously hurt, although it would've been better minus the crash... As I'm sure You already know, search that hull over meticulously for hidden and cryptic damage cause that was a helluva whop and Hydrostreams ain't getting any younger... Ditto, Ditto, Ditto on the lifejackets... Injured and wet People drown, end of story without further discussion...

some more....
There is always the possibility of serious injury in an accident like this but we were very lucky! I just wanted to show you what can happen when you drive a high performance boat. I can party as hard as the next person but when its time to be serious about a situation I am the first one to step up to the plate of responsibility. Personally I am thrilled that everyone walked away from a crash like this. So ALWAYS WEAR YOUR LIFE JACKET..... you never know when your going to need it. More details of the accident to come tomorrow....I have a boat or two.... that I never get to drive
