curve
thanks steve. i read somewhere before that the curves were the same which would lead you to believe that if a motor ran fine with an a63 on 97 that it should run with an a6 on 97 but i've found that not to be true. really stupid of me to even try

What the advantage of running an A63 or A6 over say an A48 or A36, or A5?

pressure
the way i understood it chad is when your running 39 lbs at high rpm's the injectors have to work at the top end of their duty cycle in order to flow enough fuel. at 56 the injectors can work more towards the center of their range so to speak. just the way i understood it.
the bottom line here is that i was just too lean. i knew better but my desire to go to the river that day won out. the motor should be running at 101 to 103. when it wouldn't turn the rpm's i wanted at 103 i started turning the box back because it was fat. now i'm thinking the fuel was fine. i think i wasn't getting enough air in the cowling. long story short is my motor is brokeErik Kiser

I tried an A63 with steam wheel and didn't like it at all. Dont like seeing them pyros on the edge.. I run an adjustable regulator set on 46# with an A36(39# system). That way I can run it in the middle- 99-101. That way I know I have no lean spots..
