NEW F.T.P. BOAT TEST

Went to the river today to the first water test of the new
tunnel from Full Throttle Powerboats.The boat is rigged with
a 1996 Johnson 225 Venom with a Monty bass package,or about
270hp.Jack owner of F.T.P.took off with the boatowners son and made two or three passes feeling out his new creation.
He came back to the dock with a smile and told us to get in,that made 5 persons weighing about 980#s,the back seat sat three of us comfortably,we easedout of the no-wake zone
and he applied the throttle turning our 28 Hoss and put us right on a plane.the boat was as solid as could be,he then pushed the pedal down sending us to 90mph at 7000rpm's.We were all smiling then.This boat is a good looking BAD ASS!

Since posting this earlier with 1.5 hrs seat time Tony
and his two sons have passed 100mph and still pulling and
that was enough with the little one in the boat.Going to try a 32 mazco tomorrow.

did 91 this week with two people in it and it's a 150 Merc.
I'm almost positive I could have seen triples with that motor.

Thats good speed,put 5 people equaling 980#s and see how fast you can go.My buddy had an stv with a mvp bottom and ran 103 with two of us with a bridgeport,you must have a good running 150.Im sure that tonys boat will run 108 to 110
when he gets it dialed in.A new 280ss on the 3 seater runs
114 on the revlimiter.
