87 Ranger rigged for Yamaha going to Suzuki Help

I have a 87 ranger fully rigged for a yammie. Motor did not come with the boat. I have a Suzuki 115 that I want to put on it. Economy is rough price was right on the Suzuki. My question is do I have to run all new cables? (steering, shifter, and throttle). I have tried to find an adapter I was told that they make them. Any help would be appreciated. I hope to hear that the yammie cables will work with no probs. Thanks in advance guys

Cables will be the same. Adapters on end of cables may be different. Most use 33c type cables. Steering cable doesn't change for any brand outboard although the drag link will.
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Thanks Jeff , Can I buy different adapters for my yammie cables that are on it? If so maybe you could steer me in the direction of where I can find them. First time brand swapping and I am confused

Suzuki uses standard 33c cables just like Yamaha. If you were getting a Mercury, you would have had to get an adapter, but with the Suzuki there should be no difference.
