Labor Day 08 weak 455 new A impeller 59 on GPS. This year 425 hp 455 same impeller new diverter. Know new speed after 4th of july. wanted to put video clip can't get it.

(1979 Sterling) Just got the boat last week less engine, hope to have it all fixed up and running by mid August. Have some new stuff to install first, fresh BBC, split bowl, stuffer, snoot, diverter, gauges, pull up bow light, carpet and some steering upgrades

Looking for info about ride plate.Like;does plate need to be into transome just behind intake shoe and anything else that might help ??

Get a impeller chart and look at it you will give you a good idea of the HP by the rpms the engine turns and the impeller that is in it
