Hydrostream Virage copy's?
Why hasn't anyone ever splashed a Virage? I always thought it was the prettiest boat ever made. A friend has an Allison Grand Sport that looks a lot like it, but a V hull.
People have copied LOTS of other boats, but never seen a Virage done. Wonder why? Out of respect for Mr. Pipkorn, maybe?
I'd love to have a new one. No wood, new rigging and motor. Seems like it would sell.

If People Had Respect for Howard Pipkorn...
There are probably 20 or 30 makes of boats out there that would never exist!
Per Rock:
"Once I bought my first Hydrostream boating changed forever for me."
Per my hero Instigator:
"I try not to let common sense interfere w/my boat buying decisions."

I have always wondered too, I wonder how a light Virage would do. Capt insano has the Fishing deck molds and the bottom molds.

I think Hydrostream said they were thinking of doing it , a little different though...then the economy tanked.
