We hang out @ Bird Island on the Banana River, across from Patrick AFB. I can't make it this weekend, family plans, (Wedding and B-day party) But most other weekends, we are down there.

St. John's river
Try the St. Johns river in palatka. We all hang out at a sandbar in the middle of the river. It's a great time. Every weekend. You can always count on having fun.

South of Melbourne toward Sebastian there are a number of islands we used to hang out on and camp out, back in the college days...I went to Florida Tech...
