Finger port ? please explain
What is finger ported? Going to look at a used 2.4 powerhead
and the seller says its a finger ported block. Is that the same as
my 88 2.4?

The early 2.4's and 2.0's only had a booster ports. Finger ports were added to give 2 more intake ports. In the pic the blue show the finger ports. 83-up 2.4's had finger ports. 83 had some very large ports. None of the fishing motor 2.0's had them.
