Thumbs up To My Canadian Brothers!!!

I am towing the Sonic up to Rice Lake for our Labor Day and your Labour Day weekend.
Will be staying at Yammers place on the lake.
Any of you guys that are in/from that area I want to meet all of you and give you all **** for not coming to the Rumble
    Just kidding.
Seriously, have talked to a bunch of you on the phone and via e-mail and would love the chance to actually meet you.
Joined PBCC several months ago and have been drooling over the pictures of the areas you get to run in.
We plan on kid napping Yammer (and the boss ) to take along as tour guides and put some miles on the Sonic.
So if any of you are in his area, or know him, lets try and hook up maybe even some place along a trip through the lake some place.
He and I talked last night about maybe doing a couple of the locks.
I'd love to see some of the Trans Severn!!
Hope to see/meet a bunch of you "Northerner's"!
    Gary

I had anchors--------they best anchors SLOWmc built.

My toy room is a few hours away from Rice lake, but you are welcome anytime.

The circle racing was very cool and it looks like it will be a go next year, but at a bunch of differnent venues.

I am gonna try and make it to rice lake with a boat.

Did you get the pictures of the resotation.....progress?

Oval racing!! Man, you're killin me!!!
I'll race my Sonic if you give me a class!
How about: must carry a porta potti, 2 lawn chairs, an inflateable boat, grill, 2 coolers and a riding mechanic??

I am sure none were posted, for that matter I am not sure how many were taken. Sat was the practice and the qualifier, and race day was on sunday, as you might already know the races were cancelled on sunday due to weather............we had planned to video (digitally) on sunday for that purpose.

    Wink Welllllllll-------------

Just returned from a weekend on the Canadian side of Erie and other than blowing another freaking tire on the way up, I did'nt break or hurt anything , so our trip North next weekend is still a go!!
Hope to see you guys up there!!
I also have to telll any of you that have'nt experienced this, we spent 4 days between the US and Canadian sides of Lake Erie.
    The difference is amazing!!
The US side is all about getting as much of our/your money as possible in any way they can think of. Some of the faciliteis are dirty/run down----and they don't care. Pay up or leave!
Go to the Canadian side, and dock hands are witing to catch your lines, they are curtious and polite. (value your business??)
Their dock fee's are reasonable and will help you in any way they can.
I know some US Marina/dock owner's that I want to take on a field trip

    Thumbs up ANTHONY

    WAY!!
    Don't know schedule yet though??
I'd say we have a better chance of hitting your place heading through by boat.
Still fighting serious trailer problems pulling the Sonic.
Just paid (today) to replace a trailer tire with less than 300 miles on it??
The tire shop said it was due to under infaltion which is bull **** since I tow at max inflation to try and reduce the swaying.
I also dropped 5 lbs in the other three tires after blowing that one, thinking that the heat combined with towing at max inflation was part of my problem.
Took the whole boat/trailer to a frame/spring expert today and they told me I was doing everything right (other than dropping 5lbs pressure!) and blamed it on tires.
Problem with that theory is, this is the second set of new trailer tires I've put on the damn thing??
They also said for approx $750. thery could fix me right up. In three weeks!! (I told them to make me an appointment!)
Also put 4 new van tires on a charge card today.
So broke I can't afford to pay attention but after missing the first 80% of my Summer, no way in hell I'm missing the last 20%!!
Also planned on towing up with the Sonic tank empty until my buddy Jeffro told me that your **** gas (87 octane) comes out to $2.09 a gallon US. (ours is $1.28!!)
    Now figure in high test!!
Point is, the only way we will make it up and back is to take it easy which I suck at doing (6 1/2 hour trip becomes 8!!)
We will see you for sure some time, just don't know when yet??
Am also looking to borrow a R.H. 26" Raker if any of you guys have one I can borrow.
I have my 26" Choppers but they don't carry a load for ****.
I also have a pair of 4 blade 28" Sterndrivers which pop the boat right up but don't have enough rake to carry the bow at all.
It takes about 6K (with the Choppers) to roll the bastard on plane with a load!!

    Exclamation IF ALL GOES WELL-------

We should be on the road by 12:30 or 1:00.
Gamble'd and filled the Sonic full of gas yesterday at $1.45 per for 93 octane.
Figured if I waited till we got up there, if Canada gouges you like our US stations do on holidays, I'd be paying $3. (US) a gallon X 89 gallons!!
