buzzer ?
is this right,click the key buzzer stays on,start it and buzzer goes off

when you first turn the key,should it buz or beep

Depending on the type of horn, it should have a high pitched beep if it's a merc part. some aftermarket horns buzz. Bottom line is that it should not continue to go off with the key on, engine off. It's possible you have a bad horn module on the engine.

If you have the oil injection still on the motor it should give you a beeeeep beep beep beep. If you don't have oil injection it shouldn't make any sound. If it give you a solid beep with the motor cold you have a short in the tempsensor on the starboard head.

Check with Merc using the numbers on your module. I've found that they made a couple of different styles. Some with no test, some with short tests and some that buzzed until the engine started. I guess they were trying to satisfy the masses.

it fixed its self,,,,turn the key,it goes beep beep beep then stops,start motor no beeping ,,all good ,,for now
