    Timing

    1995 chevy Suburban, 5,7L TBI

Anyone know how to set the timing on this without a diagnostic tool?

I could not find the plug anywhere.... All I found was a 4 socket plug on the passenger side of the enging not connected to anything (open to the elements)

I looked by the booster, I followed the wires from the distributor all the way acroos to where they go into the fire wall...... saw no brown, capped plug.

On my 92 model Chevy 1/2 ton truck 350 TBI, I had the pull a brown wire loose for the pin connector located behind the glove box. That info was printed in my manuel, which I let go with the truck. Apparently the computor will not read correctly with that wire connected....
