Anybody hear the recent ramblings of our former Secretary Of State? After endorsing Obama how he can actually say he's a Republican is beyond me but, now with comments like these "Americans do want to pay taxes for services," and "Americans are looking for more government in their life, not less." Is their any doubt as to his party affiliation? Once again we have another armchair General who has turned into a libtard for his own benefit and make no mistake about it thats what its all about. He advocates a more moderate stance whithin the Republican party which was had with McCain, but yet Powell voted for Obama anyway. I find that somewhat contradictory.

When I listen to Powell speak, it's as if Obama is channeling the DNC talking points through him i.e "more taxes", "more government", etc.
He is as much a Republican as Arnold and Spinchter, go away is right.

Ridiculous interpretation. Colin was put in a place that he otherwise likely wouldn't have obtained on a level playing field. Overall his performance was probably C, or maybe even B minus, but when racism pops up, the bad overshadows the good, and he DID HAVE racist ideas. If there's to be a discussion about competent, accomplished blacks, Condi Rice would be at the top of the list, but NOT Colin. I never saw anything in Condi's writings or actions that implied there was ANY racial prejudice or baggage.
