    headder question

    does anyone run dragster headers on their jet? i have an old rusted out pair of bassets and want to replace them with a set of stainless dragster headders. am i headded in the wrong direction?

    We have a couple of guys up here on the North Left coast that use the muffled Borla Drag headers (the ones that com back and up at about a 45* angle). They seem to work and give a totally different look

    i have seen them run dry also, but usually in very limited use boats. if there is going to be rear seat passengers i feel the dry headers will be like a bar be que grill in the back seat. seriously in my opinion you really need the water injected pipes. every application is different explore some more as i have seen the dry ones actually melt and warp the hulls, good luck but be careful .

    you will need heat shields to protect the boat and the people

    do you know if anyone makes stainless water injected headders. ive seen water jacketed stainless ones but not ot pipes

    i think so havent looked it over much

    the heads look fine and im i know my bottom end is fine . gonna compare cams and probably only buy the things i must buy to put it back together.

    Look on hi-tech performance.com they have a boat in there pics that has stainless jacketed headers that go over the top
