my project needs some help superboat
i have a 24' superboat jetboat no motor thats oki will build one. the guy before me tryed to cut the bottom plate that the jet bolts on to in the boat i know i have to reglass that area. allso one of the fins are broken can that plate be replaced? should i cut it the rest of the way out? i mite have to find the right man for the job if i can get the part.

yes the intake can be repaired but because of the heat to heliarc it it will be needed to remove it from the hull. you may find a used intake for less money, pm me with the part number on the intake i probably have some used ones. if i understand the question, i would not remove the fins from the bottom as this helps load the pump and is intergal for straight line steering control.
