Easiest way to remove a VRO
My friend wants to remove the VRO from his Johnson and put a low pressure lift pump in. What is the easiest way to go about this?
Thanks in advance

Is the fuel pump bad? If he just wants to get rid of the oil injection I would just plug the oil line side of the pump and let it pump only fuel. If he wants to replace the whole pump to get rid of it he just has to disconnect the pump and remove it, plug the pulse fitting going into the block and plumb in the new electric pump with a fuel pressure of around 3 to 5 psi.

Then just remove it and plug the pulse fitting going to the block and hook up your electric pump.
