1976 Hydrostream Viper
Taking a shot here to see if there is any interest in a '76 Viper I've got. It is for the hull only. The floor and core have all been removed, the transom is still in place. It would need a full resotration. I need it out of my yard but I cannot bring myself to scrap it. I am hoping there is a H'stream "junkie" out there that would want it. It has served me well and paid for itself time and time again so I don't want anything for it, just come and get it. I will get some pics up this weekend.

Nootss, Would it be safe to trailer it home with the core out. I could be there Sunday AM. Color? Interior? Windshield? 1976 would match the motor I have for it

Trailering it with no core is a bad idea. It will result in stress cracks especially under the rubrail mainly from the front seats to the transom. Also inproper support when the core is out will have the same results even more so if there is alot of walking inside the boat during replacment.

I don't know about that. If the boat is completely derigged and stripped of the seat box, floor, core and air tank, and the transom is still in place and the deck and hull are still joined it should be fairly light and stiff. Towing on good roads wouldn't be too hard on it IMO. It needs to be re-geled/painted anyway and any restorer would blueprint the hull first.
I'd go for it.
