1978 Sonic 21'

I just purchased a 1978 Sonic 21' Jet Boat. It has a 455 Oldsmobile with a 4 barrel carburetor, water cooled headers, and an upgraded ignition system. Is there anything I need to worry about with this model?

lots of people dont like the olds but i like mine, they all say to keep the revs low with the olds cause it pumps all the oil up top before it can drain down which is true on mine but seems to be only one side holds oil the other drains fine

Welcome to the wonderful world of Jet Boating, Olds, chevy, ford if your happy with it thats all that matter's, but like Mike said olds don't like alot of rev's because of the oiling problems.. Enjoy it.. What part of Pa you from??

Thanks for the quick responses! Im originally from nj but I moved to the Poconos about 3 years ago. I'll get pictures up as soon as I go and pick up the boat. It was in an accident about a year ago and theres some front end damage. So, dont mind that.
