Hopefully you met Bright's Nephew, Noel Scott, at OFF2011.
Bright sent this photo to me the other day along with a Christmas card.
The card simply said "Powerful Motor". That is a reference to a story I wrote a couple of years ago about Jeff "JD" Hunt during a 9hour.
Bright co-drove with Jeff. Every time Jeff pulled into the pits he would shout, "That's a powerful motor".

I should have recognized him right away, he just looks younger..I used to build Jeff's engines when I was at Holman Moody, and Bright was always there..We even partied at Galveston when I ran with Bobby Erra.. One story; Bright was leading a GN race one time and came in for a driver change..Jeff got in and made one or two laps, and came back to the pits..We scrambled not knowing why..He shut off the engine and asked "How am I doing?" Keith Hazell screamed at him to get back in the race..That answered the question of why Dinny Phipps wouldn't put a HM decal on a boat until the race was over..
