Hydro Stream Viper Reintroduced?
I have a questions for everyone, we believe that
people would be willing to buy an entry level performance boat for themselves, and , or their children, that they can afford. With that in mind, Hydro Stream is thinking about reintroducing the Viper, it will be built from the original molds, and will have very few options. the price point is still being considered at this time, It will be hand laid, using the same composites, and construction techniques used in all of the other models , We think that, it is a great boat, that families can use for general boating, skiing, and a lot more, all for around the price of a good PWC. A real Hydro Stream classic, built by Hydro Stream.
My questions are, what does every one think? is it viable? and is anybody interested in owning one ?
Thank you for your input

Absolutely
There are no smaller fun boats out there any more. Sure you can put a 150 on it, but you can put 75 to 90 on it and have a great inexpensive-relatively!- family ski boat.
I could see it getting confused with the Viking (I think it was Viking) pop that someone is building up in Rhode Island and got some bad comments on this forum. Those who know Hydrostream know better, but beware.Per Rock:
"Once I bought my first Hydrostream boating changed forever for me."
Per my hero Instigator:
"I try not to let common sense interfere w/my boat buying decisions."

I think bringing back the Viper would be cool ,but even more so ,would be the Ventura . I've driven them both with V6's ,and I beleive the Ventura would be a much more user freindly boat with todays current chooses of power .

If it could compete with a PWC price wise, the cool factor, and running away from a jet might just make it viable. A lot more so than the Vector or Vking splash I've seen lately since it will be a REAL Hydrostream.
OK, I got down off the porch and ran with the big dogs....kinda sore now....think I'll just lay here in the flowerbed for a while...

I think Hydrostream needs to make a fun little boat similar to the Viper but not the same. The Viper had it's time. Its cool to see one now because you know its a survivor.
