Sad to say right after this... I just had to take it up one more time...
Oh well... 3 crashes now out of about 30 or so flights... not so bad!

That's crazy! Really cool Paul, and it sounds INSANE! Dumb question, this is electric, right?

Thanks guys. Yea Greg, it is electric.. 22.2 volt 2500mAh 6 cell lithium polymer.
Only bad thing.... this is what it looked like 10 min after the camera was shut off.
Not too bad. I got it back together less rotor blades. I'll pick some up this afternoon. The canopy surviving three crashes now is developing come character.

You need to put a camera on that thing so you can check on your special crops without walking there.
How long will it fly on a battery charge?

The man has skills. To learn to fly one of these things on your own and do what he's doing now is an accomplishment. Lets just say I'll stick with the coaxial.

Wow, the electrics sure run a long time! Kinda pointless using a gas engine nowdays.

Ah, well it isn't the first time. This one was clearly pilot error. I got disoriented on its direction and .....
I flew a sim on my PC for a year and a half before I bought my heli. Bought an RC plane right before I bought the heli... I have flown once... not much interest anymore.
You can get any part for it. If you look on the peg board you can see "TREX" parts bags hanging. I'll pick up some new blades this afternoon.
I get about 8 minutes on a charge.
It is ready for new blades and a test run up... dial in hover and ready to crash again another day!
