It was nice to see my old Virage. So it is in Long Island now. Stage 1, NY9067FP
There is another Virage in Ontario, but the deck was badly damaged a long time ago, and the boat was written off.

yes it is your dads old boat. it had a omc v8 on it on your dads lift in lindenhurst. mark soliman bought it and redid it with a 2.5 merc. we buzzed around here with them for a few years then his sold to new jersey then again to fla. I had the twin to that one and hull numbers were only 1 digit apart.

i love those virages , i stared to inquire about a few that were for sale on here a few times , i was thinking of buying one for myself , but i got sidetracked (my A-D-D was kicking in)
ill probably buy one of them one day , very cool boat

i wonder how it ran w/ the v8?? that's cool to know where the boat came from, i'm surprised more people haven't chimed in, i knew the boats weren't that common, did your dad have it since new? i know this boat came from upstate ny before i got it. i also had a stg 1, very different boat to drive, the bow could be hung much higher, if you try it in the stg 3 the boat gets squirrely, it definetely likes to run flat

I like the looks of the back of the Virage alot but not the front. I always thought a Virage with a much longer bow would be a nice looking and much better rough water boat...
That Mariner on the blue one never ran. I bought it sight unseen and received it with a stuck piston. Sent it back to him and put a Merc PM 225 on it.
