'97 XB2002 w/ '98 225 Blue Anchor

Hey ya'll!

Well, I might as well git it outta da way, and call it a "Blue Anchor". 'Cause I know da merc guys will. So, anyway, here goes.....

• Allison XB2002
• Evinrude 225 Vindicator (Stock)
• 13 1/2" x 27' 4-blade Renegade
• Bob's low water & cone
• 1/4" below pad
• Trollin' motor w/ 2 batteries(one of MY excuses!)
• GPS: 83.8 @ 6300 (2-200lb riders)
• 92 @ 6700 (Solo)
• 80.3 @ 6200 (3 riders loaded w/ cooler,chairs,broom)
  (never leave home without da BROOM!)
• Have run a 14 1/4" x 29 SRX that was cut hard! No hole shot, and ran 10 mph slower at same RPM.

Well, I reckon dats enuff fer now. Go ahead, "Let da Bashin' Begin!!!"....LMAO!!!

I got the same motor - nice blue huh? But mine had some work.
I was surprise at the performance drop with the SRX. I have a Renegade too, but pitch is a whole lot less. We'll have to talk some.

dat wuz me blowin' da rooster tail...lol... I was waitin' on Gr8 XTB to catch up, so I could leave him behind again....lol... da 12,000,000hp jet boat was wayyy behind Gr8 XTB!!!

Actually, I wuz already trimmed to run, slowed down to wait on da video camera, and soon as he got next to me, nailed it! Bein's I was already trimmed to run, da tail shot out 'till she hooked up, and I wuz GONE!!!

I'm hoping that the added hp will allow me to swing the 28p Raker. I like the performance of them AND I have one!

But, I think that is a little too much. Did you have your Renegade re-worked? I didn't know they came that high in pitch.

"Blue By-U" not bad . De only reason dem Merky boyz have braging rites is cause deres more of um. Got to do with dat ratio thingy. It's good to go against de odds and win . Come to think of it, I'z did the rope racing gig last year in da 9 sec class. Only one there. NO MERKYS!! Man can't wait till she's finished.
