Is this a G-3
The guy who dropped it off to be rigged said it is a 1959 model. The tag inside said GLASPAR. Ha has me installing a 55 yammaha on it. !5" transom, 20" of motor. The hull is rotten and needs TLC.

That's a G-3...... George Linder had one in the early 60's.
Great looking boat for the time period....not so great performance.
With early 60's props, it went 44 mph with a 50 hp engine, 48-50 mph with a 75, 80, or 100 hp (They simply porpoised higher with additional HP).......
T2x20 Foot Switzer Wing 2 X S3000 (Dust'n the Wind II)
!6 foot Wood Eltro Vee (2X Merc 1500's) (Dust'n the Wind IV)
15 foot Powercat 15C (2 X Merc 1500) (Dust'n the Wind III)
(Single engine boats are lacking something)
15’ Wooden Switzer Shooting Star...
16 foot Lee Craft Merc S 3000-(Gold Dust II)
(The exception proves the rule)
Obsolete and Proud of it

This is a 1963, 1965 or 1966 Glasspar G3. (none were made in 1964) They primarily sold as a "Skiboat" but most of them around here were equipped with 75-110 h.p. motors in the 1960s. The 1963 had 2 bucket seats, the 1965 & 1966 had back-to-back seating for four persons. They were not raceboats because of the turn limitation caused by the sponsons on each side, but were a lot of fun when overpowered & rigged right. Note: the 1967 models were the last of this hull design and they had an imitation wood instrument panel riveted on.
