I will tell you this , if this hunk of crap runs under 95 it will be for sale after the first boat ride . Lets face it 95 mph in a 32 Skater is very slow !

Parker, Steve's boat(money shot) was the hooters 32 owned by Rique ford i think. It held the kilo at 110 and change with 2.4 bridge ports. Andrew & John Ingle bought it and sold it 2 Bob Hamlin to race as patriot but had some $ problems then sold it 2 Steve Armstrong...I only hope my 32 turns out as good as Money shot did as I am also a broke boat lover, Labors free...

I only hear good things about the XS 300 ! Yes they are only 305 hp , but they sip fuel and run forever so I'm told , not so ?
I did go for a ride on Patricks 32 with 2-300 Xs , infact he let me drive like a big boy !

Larry,
I think it is great that you found a 32' Skater and you are doing so muh to get it right, and the way you want it to be. You will be very happy with the outcome in the long run, I am sure. You remind me of my father with a project like this. I will keep on following your progress from your postings. Great boat, right idea with the outboards!!!

I'm thinking 95 , but keep in mind the smallest water I see is 3ft water , not 3 inch chop .
I will say this . been boating for 25 years , raced with OPA for few seasons , never broke anything , on the other hand I know a bunch of camel heds who blow there **** uo every weekend , my case here is knowing how to drive is 99% of the battle ! I own an Auto restoration shop so the labor is knid of free and already looking down the rod to a 36 or 40 classic with 6's and big power . But for now this old hunk of crap will doLast edited by Skater 32; 01-24-2009 at 12:27 AM.
