    24 volt trim

Is there a way to hook up 24v trim only on the up side of a 2 wire trim motor?

Is that for a 2 wire, where the solinoids are reversed for down trim. It seems to me that this is for a three wire set up. correct me if I am wrong. And thanks no matter what.

    Yea, dats a 3wire....

I didn't find what I wuz look'in for...I usta have it in my shop puter, but a small bolt ov lightn'in took it all away...

U kan use a solinoid to hook into the up wire leeve'in tha relay, because when U hit the up switch, the relay will ground the other wire, and the solinoid will feed 24volts to tha mota...

I will prolly find tha diagram when I'm look'in for sumpth'in else....

the newer switching system just reverses the grounds. you need to find the up relay and connect the wire from the 24 directly to it. be sure to disconnect the old 12v lead so you wont back feed 24 volts.

I think this is the two wire setup 24V up using a seperate up trim switch from the standard 12V up/down..

I have what you want. This is the diagram I came up with a while back to satisfy 24up/12down with a reversing two-wire motor and two full-function relays. This configuration will not allow UP and DOWN to engage at the same time, so it's safe to use with multiple trim switch locations. The first button pressed takes priority. You will need high-current general-purpose 8-lug relays, so don't bother looking in your JEGS catalog. Use Grainger or Mouser for the relays, get the biggest 12v-coil relays you can find. I hope this helps.

Obviously, my diagram does not show the 0, 12, 24 series battery connections shown in the other diagrams above, and also does not show any of the necessary fuses.
