Yup, I agree. Was helping a poor schmuck on another forum. Engine would not start. Everyone had the poor guy jumping through hoops with fuel delivery, spark etc. etc. Guy spent about $400.00+ in parts. I suggested to find out if the sucker would even start if he jumped the starter directly from the battery. I was nealry run off the board. But I had the last laugh. Motor started right up. Shorted kill switch. I still LMAO on that one.

Yeah, you know for fishing. You know the guys in the boats with sticks hanging out the side always in your way.

Likely it's all bunched up and frayed right where it comes out under the stator mount. New/used trigger would be the fix.

Be sure new one is harnessed with the trigger leads on top of the bundle, and free to move through the entire range but not touch the flywheel.

    hope it helps

To fish or not to fish? What a STUPID question.

Hey all. New to participating on this board. But I've benefited much by reading your posts in the past. Just wanted to add something on the trigger talk. I think the trigger coils fire 1 & 2, 3 & 4, and 5 & 6 on a V6 Mercury. Is that what you guys see?
