I was telling him to use that glue advertised on tv to glue the patch onto his lifejacket.

Like I said in the previous post, I would NOT use glue on
A) a patch that basicly is a piece of history and,
B) a expensive life jacket
I would find a tailor and have him stitch in on21 Tuff, Mercury 300X

plus being out in the sun day after day on the water the glue will probably let go. it can be stitched if you have someone local with the right tools, and being you plan to keep it for a while i`d try to stitch it

I was actually joking about the glue from television, I think they use the sewing needles that are curved so they dont have to take it apart.

Mike,
I went by ECMP performance and got to see the notch they cut out, the bottom core and the transom are in great shape, I remember you telling me that someone had looked at the boat and expressed concern about water intrusion in the transom, which would have taken a simple job and made into a very expensive project, those type of guys really know how to exploit our weekness's, but not to worry your in good hands, and with a group of guys that really dont guess at anything.
See you next week21 Tuff, Mercury 300X

Hey
Thanks Joe. Would love to see some pics. You could send them to mfranzos@comcast.net or mfranzoso@co.ocean.nj.us or feel free to post them in Anything Challenger. Quite a relief to know the hull is still solid.

Hey
Fast Fun 2 has a weight advantage
Mines been to 78 but ran out of prop. Just got a 300 pro max ignition ECU with 6300 rpm rev limit. Did reeds and am hopeing to get to mid 80 once hull is notched and I can use all the power. BIggest prop I have is a 27 trophy so hopeing to find a little bigger wheel if I need it. Will do 300 heads if I have to and a little more set back but will figure that out this spring. Also I will probably have to have Mercace wheel it for me.
