That was In Shah Alam Malaysia. Not too far away from Kuala Lumpur city the capital of Malaysia. We were invited to have a race there so a great number of us from Sarawak, East Malaysia (on Borneo Island) traveled by air the best and fastest way, just to have a race there. Almost all of the racers are from my state. Race crazy lot we are.hahahah

New Body Guard F1 Tunnel boat
Guys,
Like to share my latest tunnel boat with a Zen 26cc stock being tested at our usual race circuit.
This was meant for OB motors but as I only have inboard motors so had to go with that.
This hull just loves choppy water and didn't seem to mind the breeze at all. The standard servo for the steering was able to turn the craft at full throttle.
LOA 45.5 inches Beam 21 INCHES
Before getting an outboard, I might try it with a QD rear exhaust just to see how she handles. Hope she doesn't loose her user friendly attitude.
Regards to all tunnel lovers.

Here are two links showing the test run of the most recent Body Guard F1 Powerboat RC scale. One was captured with a cell phone and the other with a digital cam both of which has no zooming, in the shaky hands of my daughters. Hopefully video cam comes back then picture quality can be improved.
Enjoy the clips. RGDS.

Thanks for the compliment Sir. Turn was slowed down a little so they can capture it on cam. Done full throtle turn other times, she didn't show any sign of barrel rollin even in the rough waters. Time for production I think

Hi There,
Here where I am at, it would cost around US$1,100. for RTR.
To save freight for buyers in your region, one hull is in the process of being fabricated in Mississipi,US. If you or anybody else is interested, you all can email me at bglatiff@yahoo.com. I'll give the contact person in the US.
