Looks good to me Feildzy, how's the 'itch'?
You just want to have an even, rough ground surface to give the bonding material something to bite on without big surface irregularities that keep the balsa from contacting the skin.OK, I got down off the porch and ran with the big dogs....kinda sore now....think I'll just lay here in the flowerbed for a while...

Also, I had to cut out the rear flotation foam, I was going to leave it in but was amazed that after cutting into a couple inches of dry foam that half of it was compelety Saturated, Full or water. Soo its all coming out for both sides. I assume that it was wet because of a leak in the repaired wing.

Got a center bunk for the pad to sit on
Cut splashwell and inner transom skin, A little bit of rot around the old inline bolt holes, So Its all coming out!
Cut into the core and guess what! BLACK MUSH! Bright side is it comes out pretty easy!
Stringers wet and rotten too!

A lil bit of repair on both wings and bow, I assume it was in some sort of accident. Bottom was painted also...
