Optimax compressor replacement. Re-activate break in mode?
I am just finishing up installing a new compressor. Should I re-activate the break in oiling mode? Just thinking the that the compressor is a piston that probably needs to break in. Cant find anythng in the service manual.

Nevermind. I went ahead and did it so I could check to see if I had oil flow to the compressor when it primed. Just waiting on two inline oil filters and I'll be back up and running.

did you change the air injectors? I used to have tripple opti 225's and when the air pump would go we would have to replace the air injectors.

The air and fuel injectrs went to Brucato for cleaning and testing. 3 bad air injectors were replaced. The rest came into spec after servicing. The tally was one new compressor, 3 new injectors, a new air filter, 2 new inline oil filters, some zip ties and several bruised knuckles.
Ran her on the hose yesterday. Sounds great. Hope to get her wet soon.
