Time to have the blower rebuilt and upgraded to the stage three unit. Changed the pullys to 37% overdriven and only gained 3# of boost. I think the poor old blower has had it.

Nice boat. I've seen it on the Taylor Roost. Want to add another Taylor to your collection? Its for sale, and in very good shape. Completely restored.

Did this boat originally have a BBC in it?

How hard & or expensive is it to change over from an Olds to a Chevy? will the new mounts be in a different place or can you unbolt the old mounts & bolt in the new? I'm considering swapping my Olds for a BBC.

You have to change the bell housing and the front mounts but it's not that expensive. Well worth the cost and effort. Look up CP Performance on the net. They have everything you will need and very good info.

Drag'N Fever
I remember you bringing the "Fever" to Jasper 2 years ago for the river run. Beautiful boat!! I really wish you could have come yesterday, would have loved to have heard it. Just as well though, it did not need the beating we all took. I'll be checking all of my fasteners on my Ally. Hit so hard one time the driver's seat popped out of its track on the right side. Had to ride crooked the rest of the run.

That is a good run and I am going to try and make it up that way next year with John and the rest of the crew from here.
One thing is for sure though, I won't be running it in ruff water if I can help it. I done enough damage to it this year. I just droped it off Friday in DeLand florida at the painters shop to do a little touch-up and re-finish the area where I cut out the hatch for the exhaust. Getting it ready for a show in Orlando the 24th of this month, festivalsofspeed@comcast.net and River Ranch Nov. 5 - 8th.
