Busted Hull
Last weekend, 07/22/09. I hit a large boat wake at 70mph, out on the lake with a full tank of gas weighing approx 700 lbs I busted the hull under the gas tank. Fortunately when we re-done the inside of the boat we made a double hull to rest the tank on and put small 1/2" drain holes to drain any trapped water that may get inside of the cavity. The original hull wasn't built with full length stringers. We thought about adding them then but opted not to. Now there are stringers!

I have cranked the boost up to 12lb and she run 97 on the GPS. Only a little faster than before at that boost but it gets there allot quicker. The new pump makes the whole boat jump out of the water on take off. Might be a good reason the bottom busted. Too much horsing around.

How many revs at that speed?
Looking forward to seeing that thing up close. I was in Texas during Lake Kerr and I got to River Ranch late the last time. You were headed in and I was headed toward the canal where the party was supposed to be, not knowing that Dave had wrecked.
When and where is the Orlando event you mentioned earlier?
Thanks.
