Save your time and money. I tride and tested land and sea stern jack every possible way not worth the money. It was a great concept but not a real good working practical one

I put one on a friend's Pachanga with a Bravo one time. (AGAINST the advice of from my friend at Merc who felt STRONGLY that they were a safety hazzard because of all the leverage on the gimbal) We didn't see NEAR the gain that L & S was predicting, PLUS they are butt ugly hangin' off the back of the boat. I think it was less than 2 mph on his speedo.

With all the testing I have done. I never saw any more the 2 mph. Never reached any speeds they claimed

Do some mods to the motor, 5.7 parts are so cheap... nice 4bbl and intake would wake it up.

    testing Stern Jacks

I tested several Stern Jacks on several different hulls. The results ranged from incredible speed and handling gains (Checkmate 21') to a loss in speed on one particular hull (Cougar 20').
