poor warm start on 2003 Merc 90 4 stroke
Any ideas? Starts perfect cold. Let sit for an hour and its brutal to start. Most times you need to lift the in-neutral throttle lever to give it open throttle and it often fires and dies off. Kind of tough to explain.
What items are considered routine maintenance items? What do these motors use for a fuel pump?
Motor is a carb. Could be a carb issue but I am not convinced of that yet as it starts and runs perfect until it sits for an hour after being warm.Allison XB02, 22ft Tritoon 225 4 stroke, two seadoo sparks

bump - no 4 strokers? Might have to try a fishing or pontooning site, LOL

try having the carbs checked with a vacuume mate at a good dealer. It sure helped the 3 i've done.

thanks, I'm pretty sure that a needle and seat are sticking in one of them and I can't believe how much it can flood when that happens. The carbs on this one don't look that simple either.
