    Verado performance parts?

Im a big skater and optimax fan but i have a 07 whaler with twin 175s. i know this isnt really scream and fly material but this boat does do 60+. i was wondering if there were any performance parts or mods for these engines. maybe highering the boost of changing the supercharger pullys.

    Smaller pulley???

I KNOW that during the development phaze, at least one clever technician made 400 hp from a Verado with more boost....

Not sure if the ECU would compensate for the additional boost though.

well one time on my boat we had 3 people (aprox 450lbs) 160 gallons of fuel and about a 2ft chop. we did 54mph at 5300rpm. so the top at at 6300 so it still had alot left in it

If you do that rpm @WOT then you are running a bit of tall propellers for your rig. Regardless of load you should make those engines run in between 5800-6400rpm at full throttle. Otherwise the engine gets "tired"..

Take a look at veradoclub.com If there is something that could be done someone on there will know. What he meant by a prop being tall is that it is high in pitch. You might have to come down in pitch to get your rpm's into the proper range.

You can reflash the ECU............ but not legally.
There are those that have broken the code, and can get into them......

Yeah exactly, you are running too much pitch. I would get lower pitched propellers, at least 2" smaller size, but it's hard to guess anyway..
