3.0 250efi need more rpms

Well George Fuller fixed my rpm problem and now the motor spins to 5800. My question is what do I have to do to get it to spin to 6300. Is it just cut the heads and have the rev limiter raised? Will a lighter flywheel help after raising the rev limiter? Cant leave well enough alone. Thanks Mike

Are you hitting the limiter now? What year is that 250efi?

I believe the limiter is 6100 on this year motor 1998. Thanks Mike

Yep, 6100 is correct. Most came in at 6050.

Heads or flywheel won't help max rpm. They will aid holeshot.

Only way to raise rpm is to send ECU to Rapair.
