When it did run this summer, I tried a 19p older Laser that seem to carry a decent load (about six people) tubing and wake boarding.
Didn't get a chance to pull a skier. I am running a 2 to 1 LU. I also have a 17p four blade Offshore that I think you recommended to try when I go to carbs and premix next year. This is my family cruiser that does it all. Love this hull

What props is everyone running on the 20.8s with 225 promaxs? So far I’ve ran a 21 laser for skiing, 25p trophy with vent holes(slow out of the hole but got 74.8 with a weird hop thing going on. Bow was almost kind of doing circles) 24p re4 got me to 71 but was a lot more stable. Got a 27p Bronson shooter im gunna try this weekend(4blade) it runs good on my buddy’s stoker. Also tried a 26 merc chopper didn’t like it at all. What’s everyone else runnin?

Ya it’s weird. It’s the only prop that’ll fly the boat at all. It’s almost like it catches air and lifts then falls over and over and gets worse the longer I stay in it. Almost feels like a 21daytona while it’s flying but sketchier.

With enough chop I’ve been able to drive it with the hop. What lower unit are you running?

A sportmaster. On a paralift jack plate so roughly 12-14” of setback

For what it's worth everything I've read in the past says the 20.8's don't like the sportmaster gearcase. I can't remember why but that's why I went with the CLE case. I'd have to measure but I think mine has 18" of setback, 12" bracket with 6" hydraulic jack plate.

Not an expert but, the easiest and cheapest test would be to add some cup to your trophy. Sounds like you need to gain lift and bite. If you loose rpms you may decrease the blade width to gain them back. I think a legit prop guy can help you solve your problem.

Another thought, more prop lift, less trim, more stability

Switched from paraglide to 18” with a bobs had lift. CLE. I think custom1skier is onto something. Baker343 has a point with the prop

Boats still new to me just messing around with what I’ve got on the prop rack right now. I’ve also got a 21 high 5 I might try for skiin and heavy haulin

Quick question. Ripping the oil injection off my promax this weekend. Ran both tanks dry last weekend and got towed to the trailer. But I’m assuming there’s probably still a little bit of fuel in there that the straws wouldn’t suck. Anyone have a good way to get alll the fuel out of these Laveys? Maybe just mix the fuel a little heavier on oil say 32:1 to compensate for the residual fuel in there the first time I run it? Removing idle stabilizer and putting my new brucato acu on as well. Also doing injectors and reeds too.

Anyone^^^^? Also pulled that warning module off today and there was a green wire going to the coil harness. What’s the green wire do?
