Questions....
How many lengths was the (outboard) Lavey Sebring made?
I have a 20.2
Is the 20.8 different or better?
Just wanting an education on the Sebring.
How many years were they made.
I've seen pics of some with a flat floor, but mine has the tunnels to stumble over.Last edited by cocacola; 10-01-2011 at 10:46 PM.

post #128 shows a 20.8. It's quite a bit different than the 20.2. Not sure what others were made.

Strange I just looked at 138 and 128 no pictures? Oh well I saw good pictures of 20.8's on 121, 161, 178 and 183. The point is there are some very nice pictures 20.8's and 20.2's in this thread but I don't know of any other lengths.

Lavey made 4 Sebring I know of.
Lavey made 4 Sebrings I have seen and ridden in.
The 18'10 (may be called just 18) Ive seen 18"10 painted on them but im not sure if this size was sanctioned or just a custom paint job.
The 20.2 seems to be a stretched 18"10
The 20.8 (this is the first tunnel I know of to have a flat floor, a molded windscreen and molded swimsteps) The 20.8 was the fastest stock I/O boat for nearly half a decade. This boat ran 82.1 with a relatively anemic 385 HP big block.
And the 22'10 Sebring - very hard to find and extremely stable at speed pretty much a 24 ft tunnel.
It has a flat floor but an external mounted windscreen. This boat is wider than the all other Sebrings.
I need to locate and snag one of these before they slide into oblivion.

Fall Project
After the mis start at Naci I decided to make a few more mods before next season.
I took the ridiculous redundant recirculating system off the mill, changed to a higher performance ignition as my old distributor, coils and wires were pretty shot, and upgraded some more lines and had others shortened.
The guys at boostpower told me my fuel was basically black?!??!? Ethanol mold?
This new setup will run cooler pull 30 punds off the tail, reduce the number of belts and driven accessories and give me back about 14 HP I can put against the prop.
All in all shes ready to rock balls. See you victims on the lake soon!
