Lake NAci trip came and went and we all had a good time.

Still ironing out the bugs in my 20.8 didnt run right at the lake and died on us.
I pulled the plugs and 6 are really wet as though not firing at all- I need to do some troubleshooting as the dyno run used the "dynos" ignition.

I'll play around and get it straight and head back soo- maybe I can make the "Laughlin trip" Bobby was talking about- or Ill just take the big boat.

Trip was loaded with issues on everyones front,
    Blown trailer tire
Bad transmission cable in Little Durrells denali.
    20.8 issues
    20.2 issues
21 xtski gas cap going "bloop"

    - but we all made it back alive and had fun.

I lost 2 teeth on the pinion which is what I thought. It sure sounded like the engine when I heard it clunk though. I'm making tools right now to rebuild the sporty. I bought a few but some are easy to make. I could put my small shaft on but they are known for throwin your best prop to the bottom.

It was allot of fun running all of us together and looked like a Lavey commercial. We need to get the brothers to sponsor our next trip!

Dave sorry to hear about your troubles!!
After all the work it's a bummer it didn't run. It's probably something small that is just throwing everything off.

I'm officially finished with school until late August so next time you head out to the lake let me know so I can go with you this time!

Jr. I look at it as a process and dont get hung up on single issues.
Ive owned Boats all my life and rarely do they do exactly what you want when you want it.

Thats why I like bringing 2!

That said I got a few picts, and the 2750 performed like a swiss watch, and blasted us around the lake with style and comfort and speed.

I may take you up on going on the next trip.

Bobs 20.2 is a BLAST to drive.
It rockets out of the hole and pulls through the midrange like a missile. Thing hauls ass for sure.
Its going to be real interesting running against it when I get my issues squared away.
Turns on a dime, but Im spoiled by the steering on my inboards- when you need to muscle it around while hauling its a stiff twist indeed.

    So ....

Bob C (we had 2 Bobs on this trip M& C) is at the pump and the units clicking on and off and I mention to him- "Rotate the handle toward you"

He does, and the handle just ever so slightly catches the ball chain juuust enough to hit it right and release the chain- and the beautifull anodized blue gas cap goes "plop" right into the water in front of us both with a splash.

Should have bought a lotto ticket Bob!

Well, make that three Bobs- cant neglect a special mention for the "Bobby Lobby" and showing up with a boatload (literally) of cute girls.

They were all really nice kids.

Bob Sr did a good job with this group.
