No Limiter...........What??????
Can someone verify this?
I was told by a mechanic/salesman (named Ken) at a local shop here called: H2O Sports........that a 2.5Ltr EFI ECU does not have a rev limiter set on it, therefore, my 225PM would spin accordingly with whatever prop I'm running.........
However, the mech (the late Frank Esry) that put my rig together stated that my motor would spin up to 8200, but should run reliably all day at 7800..........
Anyone have any thoughts on the limiter issue..........TIA!

Thanx TEXAS..........mine is an '02 model from RAPAIR (date stamped 04/98) with an ECM off of a 280......"FRANK-N-MOTOR"........as I call it because it was built with various pieces by the late Frank Esry........[known for his go faster than anyone capabilities]........he was adamant about it's performance.
