Extensions for bassetts, OT's?

Ok I give up! 1983 21'cheetah mini-day, used to have a 460, stuck in a 455 olds, tried 2 sets of risers still cant get stbd exaust to match! I have a set of shortie bassetts. they stop just inside transom. the problem with bassets is that they so dam hot and theres only 3 to 4" from the imco fuel tanks! OT's would probably work, hell I can make them work even if I have to enlist a muffler shop! I just wanted to keep my engine hatch! Got kids ya know! Any one want to trade a set of shorties for OT's? that will teach me not to stick with an old faithful 460!
