Does anyone know anything about Caribbeans?

Just bought a 18.5 ft Caribbean by Hardin/Marine with 454. I haven't been able to find anything on Caribbean and i was wondering if anyone had heard of them before?

I have had a carabbean for 13 years. Its an '85 21' open bow, with 454 and Berkley pump. Its got the original motor and the pump has been rebuilt once. I just had the interior replaced last year. Its not as fast as my 18.5' Tahiti Tiger with a 455 Olds and Berkley pump., but has a great ride and a lot more room. It has been a good boat. I have had the Tahiti since I was 21, its a '77 and it has also been a good boat. My kids drive the Tahiti more than I do these days, while I enjoy the Limo.

thanks for the information. The 21 foot caribbean open bow looks like a really cool boat. I have seen a couple of them on google but haven't been able to find anything else out about caribbean itself. Is it a subsidiary of any other company?

a friend of mine has a 1979 23ft caribean i/o volvo 350 with a 280 outdrive.pretty cool boat has a mini fridge.in front in the cuddy cabin for overnights on the lake.dont have much imfo on the company for you tho
he found the boat in arizona on vacation and towed it to california
