Thanks for putting that up Pyro.
That 2nd pass was really moving. It gets up to 100 in about 500'.
You can take the next video from the passenger seat.

That is incredible acceleration. What kind of acceleration and top speed would something like that have? What kind of rebuilds and maintenance would be required on the motor/drivetrain?

Stoker2001, Thanks and good luck at the races Kevin.
I wish I was going to Red Bluff.
Maybe Firebird in the fall.
Better watch out on that ride in Smittys Daytona, Might be a spoiler. Tell Smitty you want to drive it.
JimBob1,
I've had the turbos and efi on the motor since 2003.
Blower and carbs for the three years before that.
Repairs and main't havent been too bad but when you make something put out 2X + the hp of stock it needs to be monitored close.
When I had the motor in a previous jet boat it twisted the ujoint off and I thought the motor blew.
Last fall it ate a roller lifter and I replaced the whole set after 5 seasons.
Original BME pistons lasted 7 seasons.
The turbos will outlast the rest of the engine.
I put 50 - 60 hrs a yr on it.
