Is Skagen Marine alive?
I've had a '77 19ft Tahiti w/455 beefed up Olds turning a tweaked Berkeley jet for close to 20 years. Son broke the engine so I did a $5K + rebuild 4 years ago. Engine is on stand - never cranked up. Son passed on. Want to do a super tune on boat interior and slap the engine back in boat. Need help with tune and break-in on rebuilt engine. If a Seattle or Everett area jet boat & engine pro is reading this, pls contact me for some discussion. I'd like to have the boat back on the water for a year before it finds a new owner. thanks,

I think Skagen is still in business, they moved from Seattle to Auburn years ago. I ran into his kid, Tony Skagen last year at Potholes. He had a beautiful 21 Daytona with a blown big block in it. Is the jet still in it? Should be pretty easy to bolt the motor in. The wierd part is the water line routing.
