    22 Velocity

Does anyone know this boat or the owner? I'm thinking of getting rid of my 24 Baja Outlaw and getting something like this. This would be my 1st choice b/c of the engine. Plus the fact that it has been restored.

    Thanks for any info!

1985 model years were built o.k. Stay away from any 1984 model year 22 Velocity's, which was the first year of production. The 3/8" Balsa core severely delaminated in the bottoms of every one of them, without exception.

It might be worth the investment to have a qualified Marine Surveyor go over the boat first. Do a moisture reading on the hull, check the stringers, bulkheads and so forth. It looks nice though.

Always good advice. Saves a lot of major headaches & future dollars.
