optimax alarm at w/o throttle

I have a stock 200hp opti. at w/o throttle according to the smartcraft guage it was turning 5800 rpm. Periodicaly I will get an alarm a single beep I was not getting an alrarm on the screen but I think It is an over rev alarm. Anybody know? I do not have the owners manual to check the alarm codes.

my promax will do this when I hit the rev limiter...the smartcraft display will beep when rev limit is reached and won't clear until I back off of it.

Is the rev limit on yours 5800? What does the name plate say on the clamp?

just checked it is 5750 so thats what it is.
