2006 Evinrude 150 Direct Injection - Solid or not
I am looking at a 2006 Evinrude 150 Direct Injection. Is this a descent reliable motor? If money were not an issue, I would buy te e-tec. Will this motor be a solid second option?
Thanks in advance for the responses,
Kind Regards,
BANG!

I heard the DFI engines are stronger and better on fuel then the Etecs, I'd get one in a heartbeat. The best part is no lame intelligence insulting infommercials to advertise them, just solid performance.
I'm currently boatless

Hey bang, yes the direct injected models are very strong, good on gas and oil, not as good as the e-tec but still good. very reliable and very strong, they have a great sound at high rpm's, like a small muscle car sound. good luck, if the price is not too good to be true shop around, and get it tested and written on the contract what is negotiated on warranty!!!
