    Question Injector Cleaning?????

I was thinking after 6 years of running on my 300X of sending the injectors down to Tony and having them clean up. I know the 2.5 boys do this often. What are thought about doing this on a 3.0? Anybody else tried this? If so what were your results? Thanks, Chuck

    Chuck,
I've never been dissatisified with Linda and Tony's work. I would think that the same process of the fuel being injected trough a metered orfice system could after time could and would get fouled . I can't see how you could go wrong..
    Have a good one,

I am about ready to send mine out for cleaning as well, I would say the results are always good when I read post about piston melting due to restricted spray paterns on injectors. My question is how important is numbering the injectors?

Yes I sell them ( slosch tanks )

When you get your injectors back from Linda they will be scribed on the injector AND in a numbered package , she has determined by flow specs which injector will "match" the needs of what bore best and have them numbered ready to mate to that number bore..Has worked GREAT for me and my customers for years...

    Have a great day,

But does that mean I need to number mine during removal?

    Chuck,

On the 3 liter engine I will admit I have never removed them. I can instruct you on removal on EVERY 2.4 and 2.5 injector made but the 3 liter ain't my bag. I would suspect there is a removal tool like with a automotive injector. But I honestly don't know about your 3 liter, bet Tony Brucato can chime in and enlighten us both..

    HOPE SO...

I can't say enough about the work of the Brucato's. You will not find more professional people to deal with and they really know their s*it.

I was young and bashful back then.
Today,...I'd just knock on her door,..hand her the crab dope, and say, "Rub summa this on ya booger. I'll be back day after tomorrow".
